is a chemical engineer and an international climate change consultant with extensive experience in climate change policy design, legislation development and implementation.
He worked in the Turkish Ministry of Environment for 12 years as a government official. His duties in the Turkish Government included representing Turkey in various climate change related international conferences and events including the UNFCCC process as a member of the delegation of Turkey; coordination of climate change mitigation and adaptation efforts of Turkey, especially tasks related to MRV, National GHG Inventories, National Communications and related international projects; design, preparation, implementation and enforcement of the Turkish MRV legislation. After leaving his position in the government he began his freelance career as an international climate change policy consultant. He continues his duties in Turkish Accreditation Agency as an assessor for ISO 14065 audits.
