has over 25 years’ experience in international development/dialogue and cooperation including extensive experiences with project development in energy, climate change and sustainability services. Of these, 10 years are with the Climate Change secretariat to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) in Bonn, Germany where he has worked in providing support to intergovernmental negotiations, and to regulatory bodies towards implementation of mandates. He is founder and Managing Partner of ReNewClimate Strategies LLP (RNCS) a consultancy and management firm based out of India and involved with development of projects both in climate change policy and sustainable projects for rural communities’ address issues surrounding energy access. RNCS has an objective to catalyze climate action including climate finance in Asia and Africa by providing policy, programme and project advisory services to public and private sectors. As an International Climate Change expert, he has facilitated several Technical Assistance programs aiming to strengthen the capacity of the country governments to integrate climate change considerations into the planning, design and implementation of development projects, such as an enhanced transparency framework and nationally determined contribution (NDC) monitoring frameworks.
